Denise has worked in the social work field for over 13 years, with over 6 years experience in higher education counseling. Denise is trauma-focused as she the co-founder of Haven, a sexual violence resource center in upstate NY @ Colgate University. Denise is a POC/Latinx, feminist w/radical views and approach. Her focus includes an array of interests and specialties and utilizes an approach that best suits the client/student.

 

Personal Interests

Denise is queer-partnered and a co-parent to two teenagers. She enjoys being active, learning new things, sports, art, and long walks on the beach.
